  Campers entering Grades 3-8 for the 2026-27 School Year

  9:00am - 3:00pm Daily


Camp Cost:
  $310/week

  Wayland High School Field House and Outdoor Courts, 264 Old Connecticut Path, Wayland, MA


Camp Description:

Spend a week this summer with coaches Tim Glavin and Jeff Brewington as you work on increasing your skills on the court for next basketball season.


Coach Glavin has been a Teacher and Coach at Wayland High School for over 10 years, serving on the Boys' Soccer and Girls' Basketball staffs.


Coach Brewington is a former Metco Student and 2010 Wayland High School graduate. He is a former teacher at the High School and a member of the Football and Boys' Basketball staffs.


It is both of their first year as Head Coach of their respective basketball programs. 


Camp will include foundational skill development across all facets of the game, skill competitions, a mix of fun activities, and competitive games. We will use both the Field House and the Outdoor Courts, weather permitting. Depending on numbers, we will either play 5-on-5, 4-on-4, or 3-on-3 games. The last day of camp will feature our camp tournament, where students will compete for the Camp Championship. Teams may consist of a mix of grades.



Sample Daily Schedule:

9:00 - 9:30 Check-in/Attendance/Warm-up

9:30 - 10:30 Offensive Skill Work

10:30 - 11:00 Snack

11:00 - 12:00 Defensive Skill Work

12:00 - 12:30 Lunch

12:30 - 1:30 Fun game/Skill Competition (Knockout/3pt Contest/Free-throw Contest)

1:30 - 3:00 Games



Camp Details:

  • Players will be grouped according to age, skill, and experience.
  • Campers are to bring snacks and lunch for each day of camp
  • Campers are to bring water bottles each day of camp (bring multiple if needed)
  • Caregivers are responsible for applying sunscreen prior to camp on a daily basis
  • All campers to receive a T-shirt
  • Campers are to bring the following equipment:
  • Appropriate footwear: basketball shoes 
  • Sunscreen and/or bug repellent (please apply before arrival)


This camp must comply with MDPH regulations and be licensed by the LBOH.


Parents and guardians of registered campers have the right to review staff background checks, camp health care policies and procedures, discipline policies, and grievance procedures upon request. Campers will be released only to parents/guardians or a designated individual with written authorization.


Meningococcal Disease and Immunization information will be provided via the TGIF TeamSnap portal to all parents/guardians of registered campers.
